My Mother

I thought I’d post this photo of my parents taken shortly after they married, and then a recent one of my mom with my grandson, Braden. Wasn’t she working it in the pic with my handsome father!!! She’s still beautiful. Faynita might be considered a “senior citizen”, but she doesn’t look her age or act like an old lady in any way, shape, form or fashion (she’s always dressed to the nines!). Go Mom!

You have G.R.E.A.T. genes in your family!
Loved your pops and elvis cake too! Fantastic Job!

What a beautiful Mother. By the grim on your grandson's face you can feel the love. Lovely post.

Your mother is cute as a pixie! I see where you get your petite cuteness :) Is it inappropriate for me to say your dad is HOT? You are a very lucky girl to have your mom alive and well and very much a part of your life. I can't imagine anyone not wanting to be around you. Your constant enthusiasm and optimism is contageous. I consider myself quite fortunate to have you for a friend. And you BAKE! Double lucky ME!!!

I love ladies who refuse to grow old! I'm planning on wearing purple (like the poem).

I ♥ that you came to visit my bloggity blog blog...I roamed around yours just now and you don't look old enough to have a daughter that old and your mom is too cute and the picture of you and your sisters and niece and mom with the cool scarves....well..I think you do have it going on! We went to Germany almost 30 years ago and visited some castles and they are so impressive...It is amazing what they did without modern equipment. I would love to go back sometime...but who knows. How fun that you get to come to a meeting in Scottsdale this month, be very very glad that it is February and not Jun, July, August, Sept., or Oct....lol then it is just miserable. We have a son that is serving a mission in the Atlanta Georgia area...and he has just loved the people, they have all treated him so very kind and he says the food is to die for. He has had the opportunity to serve in Douglasville, Jackson, Atlanta, Sandy Springs, Symrna and right now he is in Auburn Alabama, he is hoping they will transfer him back to Atlanta before his mission ends in August. Someday we hope to go down there and meet the people of Georgia that he has fallen in love with. I am sure you wanted a novel on here, sorry about that. Oh...love your cakes they are beautiful! Please email me with your address so that when I finish my little somethin' somethin' I can mail it to you, my email is pkfamdmly@aol.com this should be so much fun.
